GIS Advisory Meeting Invitation

Monday, April 09, 2007
 Dear friends,
Rio Hondo College invites you to participate as a valued GIS advisory member.  Your contribution is valued both regarding the GIS applications, education and various other resources to determine the needs in the GIS industry. The California Community Colleges have valuable resources for you and your geospatial interests and in the past, such meetings have included participants from education, and members of city, county and private sector including past students.
The mission is to obtain input from GIS users in the Los Angeles area on the GIS needs for which the college can support and or possibly seek additional funds.  Furthermore, we would like your input on the GIS Certificate, additional curriculum developments, suggested workshops, use of the facility, scheduling of convenient times, training opportunities and other items (see following page).
Please join us and respond to GIS Coordinator Warren Roberts (wroberts@riohondo.edu) if you can attend so we can purchase sufficient refreshments and provide you a parking permit and directions.
We look forward to a very informative meeting.
 Regards,
 Warren Roberts
